Giving Statements and Reports

Church Social also makes generating member giving statements and reports a breeze. To create a statement, select the date range, which funds should be included, and what members to include. You can choose to include only members who have made contributions, or to also include members who have not made any contributions during that time period.

Types of Statements and Reports

Here is a listing of the types of statements and reports you can generate from the giving module.

Member Contributions

Generates a report of contributions by the specified members during the selected time period and for the funds selected.

Donor Contributions

Generates a report of contributions by the specified donors during the selected time period and for the funds selected.

Anonymous Contributions

Generates a report of contributions by anonymous persons during the selected time period and for the funds selected.

Ward Summary

Generates a report of contributions by members of a ward or shepherding group. This allows you to run a report and provide it to elders or deacons if requested.

Ward Summary with Fund Totals

Generates a report of contributions by members of a ward or shepherding group. This version of the report details how much each member contributed to each selected fund. This allows you to run a report and provide it to elders or deacons if requested.

Fund Summary

Generates a report of contributions by members to each selected fund.

Fund totals

Generates a report of the number of contributions and the total value of those contributions for each selected fund.

Printing Statements and Reports

Like the tax receipts, there is a print format option to optimize for single vs two-sided printing. This is helpful for members who've made many contributions, and their statements span multiple pages. Statements are also designed to work with #10 windowed envelopes.

In addition to member statements, you can also generate statements for shepherding groups (wards/districts). Many churches provide giving statements like this to their office bearers.
