Transfer Documents and Attestations

A common task for church administrators and statisticians is providing member information when a member moves away to a different congregation. For many church federations, this member information typically accompanies an attestation document, and includes member information such as birth dates, baptism and profession of faith details, contact information, marriage dates, and the like. 

Church Social make the process of sharing this information easier by providing a "Transfer documents" feature. 

Note: The Transfer documents feature is accessible only to members assigned the Administrator or Statistician role.  See our the Roles and Permissions support document for more details.

Administrators and statisticians can find the transfer documents by going to a Family, clicking on the 3-dot menu in the top right of the window and selecting the Transfer documents option.

This will open the Print transfer document window where you can select which family members are included in the document and then click the Download button. You will then see a PDF copy of the Transfer Document which you can forward electronically or print out. Selecting individual family members is helpful in situations where only a child moves away
